As it is known, since its establishment in 1996, Dire Micro-Finance has been doing many works to ensure their economic benefits by providing credit and savings services to those who are engaged in small and medium-sized income-generating work and those who want to work. With this the institution was able to reach many people.
At present, the capital of Dire Micro-Finance Institution has reached more than 430 million birr. In the fiscal year 2016, the total wealth reached more than 1.3 billion birr. The institution’s performance in terms of loan distribution is more than 100 percent and in terms of the number of borrowers, it has recorded a performance of more than 89 percent.
In 2017 New Year, our institution completed the preparation to distribute loans of nearly 1 billion birr, and thus more than 3,500 loan customers will benefit from the service.
It is planned to collect more than 958 million birr in terms of savings collection, and it has reviewed and approved a plan to enable the institution to fulfill its mission in a better way and to reach its customers in a wide range and provide quality loan and savings services. The cooperation of all parties is very important for this vision and mission of the institution to be successful and to be able to reach many people.
