Dire Micro-Finance, which participated in the 3rd Africa Job Creation Forum, was awarded a crystal and certificate for providing excellent credit, savings and professional support to small and micro enterprises among the micro-finance and savings institutions established by the government at the national level.
The award-winning micro-finance institution was participating in the 3rd Africa Job Creation Forum, which was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, honorable Mr. Temesgen Tiruneh, and the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, honorable Mahmoud Ali Yusuf, and other guests. The forum focused on issues such as strengthening the agricultural value chain by enhancing the African Continental Free Trade Area, ensuring digitalization and financial inclusion, creating convenient and secure job opportunities.
The forum was organized by the Ethiopian government in collaboration with the African Union, the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat, and the AeTrade Group, and was held for three consecutive days and concluded yesterday.
At the forum, which was attended by ministers, diplomats, scholars, researchers, entrepreneurs from various African countries, and representatives of international organizations, Dire Micro-finance’s CEO, honorable Mr Teshome Abebe, received the award from Honorable Mr Adem Farah, Vice President of the Prosperity Party and Head of the Center for Coordination of Democracy in the rank of Deputy Prime Minister.
The CEO expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dire Micro-finance, Honorable Mr. Kedir Juhar, the board of directors members, for the institution’s, management, members and the entire staff for their outstanding achievement.
