Dire Micro Finance held a Customer Conference and Recognition Program.
Honorable Mayor of Dire Dawa Administration and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dire Micro Finance, Ato Kedir Juhar, emphasized the institution’s outstanding service to the community and its commitment to making future services more accessible, with the administration pledging continued support.
The Mayor highlighted that Dire Microfinance has proven itself as a financial institution that enables underserved societymembers—those who cannot access regular banking services—to become financially included. He noted that youth and women who previously lacked access to regular loans are now benefiting through the institution’s facilitation.
Mr. Teshome Abebe, CEO of Dire Microfinance, also affirmed that the institution has demonstrated its role in promoting financial inclusion and practical partnership with the community. He stated that Dire Microfinance is working to modernize and streamline its services by adopting innovative systems and contemporary technologies. Additionally, the institution is expanding its reach by opening new branches in Addis Ababa and Haromaya to better serve the public.
At the Customer Conference and Recognition event, Dire Microfinance recognized high-performing customers operating under loan and savings models. Distinguished guests of the day presented certificates and crystal trophies to the honorees.
